Build all the fundamental techniques of guitar playing
Develop skills to learn your favorite songs
Finally feel comfortable on the instrument
Progress at your own pace
When you enroll, you'll receive our proprietary curriculum as well as exercises to develop your rhythm, technique, chords, melodies and solos. We'll also give you a free private guitar lesson to help you get started and learn the basics.
Each month, we pick two new songs that all students in your level will learn. Throughout the month, you will master the technical skills required to play those songs. By the end, you’ll be able to play them front to back with control and confidence.
Plus, we guarantee that by the end you'll be playing full songs and writing your own parts.

Our goal is to help you build a meaningful new skill and play the songs you love.
Each month we select 2 new songs for each level that will be the focus of our learning. We then use the song as a milestone to teach all of the technical skills required to play the songs.
By the end of the month you’ll be playing them front to back and if you stick with the class for 6-months you’ll have an entire set of music under your belt.
-
Start with one-finger and two-finger chords. Learn those and apply them to songs you enjoy. Next, focus on some basic open chords and practice with those same songs. From there, melody playing and single-string picking can develop. Begin with the foundations of rhythm guitar and build from there.
-
That’s a tough one. Everyone develops at their own pace. What are your goals? What is it about the guitar that excites you? Who are some of the players you enjoy listening to, and how do they approach the guitar? These are important questions to ask yourself. To be honest, learning never stops on an instrument, but the more you engage meaningfully with your guitar and music as a whole, the more you will grow as a musician.
-
Private guitar lessons typically cost $250–$400 per month. Our Guitarist’s Roadmap class costs $199 per month. The advantage of our group class is that it allows you to work with top musicians in the Boston area and learn alongside other beginners. As a group, you have the opportunity to tackle learning guitar together and connect over what makes music important to you.
-
Each student is scheduled into a primary weekly recurring class (ex: Level 1 on Mondays @ 7pm).
If you have to miss a week, you can cancel with at least 24 hours notice and reschedule into another class at the same level within 7 days following the originally scheduled class.
So basically, you can reschedule anytime within the same week.
