Master the Guitar

Our class series, Guitarist’s Roadmap, is designed for adult beginners in Boston looking to learn how to play the guitar and:

  • Advance from beginner to the intermediate level

  • Develop skills to learn your favorite songs

  • Learn to improvise and create with the guitar

  • Progress at your own pace

When you enroll, you’ll receive our proprietary curriculum as well as backing tracks and exercises to develop your rhythm, technique, chords, melodies and solos. We’ll also give you a free private guitar lesson to help you get started and learn the basics.

Plus, we guarantee that by the end you’ll be playing full songs and writing your own parts.

Technical

First, you’ll study music theory and learn exercises to build new vocabulary, gain conceptual understanding and improve muscle coordination.

Performance

Next, we’ll focus on performing musical compositions and popular songs.

Creative

In the final creative phase–the super fun part–you’ll develop a process to write your own parts and improvise.

The Guitarist’s Roadmap is designed for adult beginners with little or no guitar experience. We’ve broken down the course into three levels to ensure you’re grouped with other guitarist’s with a similar skillset.

Level 1

Zero experience required. This class is for students who've never played the guitar or music and who have never taken guitar lessons before. 

Tuesdays, 6pm

✓ Covers the fundamentals of rhythm, chords, scales, and left-and-right hand coordination.

✓ Strumming patterns, reading tablature, and methods for learning songs.

✓ Power chords, spread triads, techniques for expression, tone and fx.

Level 2

For guitarists who have either completed our Level 1 class or who have some experience and understanding of guitar basics.
